At the top of America, Montana is the 4 th largest state in the USA, roughly 300 by 600 miles or 147,060 square miles. The lowest point in Montana is higher than the highest point in 10 US states. On average you can find 6 people, 1.4 elk, 3.3 deer, and 1.4 antelope on every square mile. Every 16 square miles will have one moose; 150 square miles, a bald eagle and a grizzly bear. Montana's rivers provide water for 3 oceans, the Pacific Ocean, the Artic (Hudson Bay), and the Atlantic (Gulf of Mexico). The cool arid climate combined with the pristine water and pure air of the high prairies produce the finest cereal grains, oil seeds, fruits and vegetables.
